2-4 Postdoctoral Researchers, Social Sciences and Philosophy, for a fixed term period from 1 June 2018 until 31 May 2019.
Specialized in research on social, political and cultural transformations, the Department of Social Sciences and Philosophy is one of the leading units in the field of social sciences in Finland. Postdoctoral researchers are required to have a relevant doctoral degree, the ability for independent scholarly work and the teaching skills required for the position. The duties and qualification requirements and language skills for the position of the Postdoctoral Researcher are stipulated by the University of Jyväskylä Regulations and language skills guidelines.
The Postdoctoral Researcher’s job-specific salary component is based on the job demands level 5-6 (2 893,95€/month - 3 374,18€/month) according to the salary system concerning teaching and research staff at universities. In addition, a personal performance-based salary component amounting to the maximum of 46,3 % of the job-spesific salary component is also paid.
A trial period of six months will be used when the position is first filled.
