The Business School of the University of Eastern Finland operates on both the Joensuu and Kuopio campuses. Education in business studies is offered in a Bachelor’s degree programme that is common to all students, as well as in subject-specific Master’s degree programmes.
We are looking to recruit a university lecturer who is particularly familiar with financial accounting. The position can also be filled as a university teacher position. The position will be situated on both the Kuopio and Joensuu campuses, and will begin on 1 August 2021. Please find more information below and submit your application no later than 20 May 2021.
Position and salary
The position is primarily sought to be filled as a university lecturer position, but the title of a university teacher is also possible.
The role of the university lecturer/university teacher will be to:
Together with the professors of the subject, the university lecturer/university teacher will develop the subject’s education and research and prepares and coordinates research projects in the field.
The position will be filled with an open-ended contract as from 1 August 2021. A probationary period is applied to all new members of the staff.
The salary of the position is based on the salary system for the teaching and research staff at universities. The salary consists of the job-related salary element and the personal performance salary element. In the university lecturer position, the job-related salary element will be on level 5–7 of the job requirement level scheme (3,000.49 – 4,033.80 euros/month). In the university teacher position, the job requirement level will be 5 (3,000.49 euros/month. In addition to the job requirement component, the salary includes a personal performance component, which may be 6- 50% of the job requirement component.
