SOLUTION DESIGNER, PURCHASING & PLANT MAINTENANCE (SAP)
We are looking for a service-oriented technical minded ICT professional to join us in Group ICT Solution Development function as a Solution Designer for purchasing and plant maintenance related solutions, focusing on SAP Materials Management (MM) & Warehouse Management (WM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) related operations. Solution Designer is mainly responsible for solution development and architecture, capturing development needs as well as implementing and coordinating their execution with internal stakeholders and external vendors either individually or as part of a formal project or release team. Ideal candidate is a service-minded team player with positive attitude and good communication and cooperation skills.
− Analyzing development needs and participation in demand management
− Contribution to MM/WM and PM solution architecture and development especially in request to pay process area
− Designing, specifying, implementing and testing new functionalities and changes in MM & PM area. Creating and maintaining technical solution documentation
− Supporting master data management in purchasing and plant maintenance
− Defining and maintaining best practices for MM & PM systems development and maintenance and standards for solution quality
− Operative management of external vendors’ solution development work by verifying solution quality, and controlling progress and cost of development
− Providing knowledge transfer to support organizations in service transition and 3rd tier application support, also partially participate in 2nd tier support actions
− Identify improvement opportunities within own area by understanding business processes and industry requirements, standards, and best practices
Candidate experience and competence expectations
− Minimum 5 years relevant experience on SAP MM/WM environment and/or PM
− Experience of functional configuration and implementation of SAP MM/WM and understanding of relevant cross-functional integration points
− Ability to turn business requirements into implementable solution concepts and document them
− Competence in IT system architecture and solution consulting
− Vendor management skills in multivendor and international environment
− Good understanding of ICT development process frameworks, agile methods and service management (ITIL) environment
− Fluent Finnish and English skills
− Experience of mill environment and mill plant maintenance process (SAP PM)
− Knowledge of mobile solutions and IIoT technology
− Knowledge of integration technologies
− Knowledge on SAP S/4 HANA
− Hands-on and mill minded person
− Action, development, quality and results focused
− Ability to influence people in a matrix organization
− Personality to use own initiative and be proactive
− Tolerance to cope with dynamics of a strongly developing environment
